Suspension of London Congestion Charges & Low Emission Zones

Following lobbying from FTA to the Mayor of London, from Monday 23 March all road user charging schemes in the capital will be temporarily suspended until further notice. This includes the Congestion Charge, the central London ULEZ and the London-wide LEZ. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has announced this move to support the supply chain and to ensure London’s critical workers are able to travel round London as easily as possible during this national emergency.
In addition the Mayor is urging private car journeys to only be undertaken if absolutely necessary. The roads need to be kept clear for the emergency services and critical workers. Drivers are being asked to consider the wider implications when thinking about using their vehicles.
Please note that the ULEZ and LEZ are 24 hour schemes and will continue to apply until Monday 23 March.
