Rossetts Tracey lands Mercedes-Benz Vans customer care award

12.03.2019

Rossetts van sales specialist Tracey Stewart recently won a coveted trophy, in recognition of her determination and hard work.
Tracey, who works at our Aldershot site, stepped up to collect the Managing Director’s Award for Customer Dedication at the Mercedes-Benz annual Van Stars celebration of excellence.
Staged at the Celtic Manor Resort, in South Wales, the event brought together representatives of Dealers from all over the United Kingdom. Underlining the importance of Tracey’s achievement, her award was one of only six presented on the night.
Tracey joined the Rossetts in 2017, having worked previously for a French manufacturer as a fleet and commercial sales specialist. “I wanted to represent a more prestigious brand, and when it comes to vans that means Mercedes-Benz,” recalled the keen surfer and skier.
Tracey last year landed a breakthrough order for 22 Sprinter vans from JCB dealer Greenshields, which operates from headquarters in Farnham, Surrey, and six other depots throughout the South-East.
However, she was nominated for the Customer Dedication award in recognition of her success in winning another prestigious business from a second representative of the construction and industrial machinery leader. Gunn JCB, which is based in Greater Manchester, and has eight branches across western England and Wales, is now running the first of 30 Sprinters to be supplied by Rossetts Commercials.
Tracey’s award nomination cited her “dedicated hours of work” before Gunn JCB committed to its first investment in Mercedes-Benz vans. “Tracey drove countless miles and had numerous early morning motorway breakfasts, so she could attend a succession of procurement meetings and undertake a full day of demonstrating to the business stakeholders,” it said.
“This approach and tenacity is earning Tracey a loyal customer following. Her personal touch and knowledge of the connected Sprinter placed her in pole position against the competition, and helped her to secure a large order.”
A delighted Tracey declared: “Wow! What a fantastic evening. To receive a Van Stars award for doing a job that I genuinely love makes me incredibly proud. I’d like to thank my amazing colleagues at Rossetts Commercials, who have provided me with unwavering encouragement, guidance and administrative support.”
Tracey said the reliability and longevity of a “brilliant” product gave all of those working in the Mercedes-Benz Vans retail network a head start. She continued: “I’m prepared to put in the hours, clock-up the miles and do whatever’s necessary to win the business, then keep the customer smiling and favouring that three-pointed star.”
Gunn JCB Aftermarket Director Tim Simcock added: “It comes as no surprise that Tracey has been recognised by Mercedes-Benz Vans. She has provided a first-class service, with very high levels of communication. It’s evident from our experience that she does genuinely care, not only about her customers, but also about the brand and the Dealer she represents.”
